Celebrate the 9th annual PADI AWARE Week by turning your travel into tangible ocean conservation. Join the RED SEA PROJECT™ team at our Marine Conservation and Education Center in Marsa Alam.
Direct Scientific Contribution: You will work as an active citizen scientist, collecting real-world data on seagrass health, coral bleaching, and endangered species to help protect the Red Sea ecosystem.
Non-Invasive Megafauna Monitoring: You will learn to safely track and photograph Marsa Alam’s resident dugongs and sea turtles using a strict "zero-touch, zero-chase" policy that respects their natural behavior.
Daily In-Water Fieldwork: Expect to spend your mornings in the shallow, sunlit bays of Marsa Alam, conducting hands-on snorkeling or diving surveys in critical marine habitats.
Biologist-Led Workshops: You will receive personalized, expert training from resident marine biologists at our Education Center, mastering species identification and data-logging techniques.
