REPORT SIGHTING

CITIZEN SCIENCE

Every time you are out at sea – diving, snorkeling, or even walking along the beach you might encounter a sea turtle, pod of dolphins, or experience another event worthy of noting for conservation purposes. With the help from you and other community members, we can identify the spreading of alien species or quickly identifying emerging environmental issues.

It would help us a lot if you would share the information about these sightings with us. This information will be added to our growing database and shared directly with the local experts to be analyzed and filtered then shared as (PUBLIC SOURCE) with the community. This will help us better conduct our marine protection work in the Red Sea.

Sometimes identification of species is tricky, especially when there are first-time reports.
To confirm such reports we kindly ask you to add a photo or a short video or add a link to allow us to download it.

Soon we will announce the release of the Red Sea Project mobile Application. You'll be able to share your sightings using a mobile phone application for iOS and Android.
