About the Event

The 8th Annual AWARE Week (13–21 September) is an opportunity to take part in a global movement to protect the underwater world. PADI Torchbearers worldwide will unite through cleanups, citizen science, education, and advocacy.

The Red Sea hosts unique habitats—seagrass beds, mangroves, coral reefs and coastal plants —supporting exceptional biodiversity. The RED SEA PROJECT™ is committed to protecting these natural resources while promoting respect for their ecological and cultural value.

We invite you to attend a series of free public lectures at our PADI Education Facility in the Red Sea, designed to expand knowledge and inspire action. These sessions will:

  • Introduce the diverse marine ecosystems of the Red Sea and their unique inhabitants.

  • Present practical ways to engage directly in conservation initiatives and citizen science.

  • Offer exclusive access to our newly established Marine Conservation and Education Center, a hub for learning, scientific research, and community engagement.
